Here’s to an amazing start - and many more “ends” to come!
This year we welcomed 30+ new curlers into our Learn to Curl Program. Over five weeks, our LTC crew learned new skills, safety tips, and all the curling etiquette needed to hit the ice with confidence. Plus, they’re enjoying a half season of league play.
Huge shoutout to Mary Carr, our amazing Learn to Curl Convenor, for leading this program with so much care and energy. And a big thank you to our Club Coaches Karen & Bruce Jepson, Bruce Hooey, and Ron Carr for sharing their expertise and keeping everything running smoothly.
We also couldn’t do it without our wonderful volunteers: Kate Baxendale, Brenda Hann, Marc Lemieux, Cheryl Hooey, Peter & Debbie Guiry. Thank you for showing up with enthusiasm and making this program shine.
To top it all off, we wrapped up with the New Beginnings Funspiel on Sunday, November 23rd, where our club members welcomed our newest curlers to their very first bonspiel.
